The huddle was started in 1999 and has been a impactful group. Many coaches and teachers serve as sponsors led by Barbara Collier. The student leaders have been faithfully going to FCA Leadership camp every summer which has helped yield great stability! TREVOR'S BIO To my brothers and Sisters in Christ,
My name is Trevor Larson and I represent the North Austin area. I come to you from a number of states. I was born in Glasgow, Montana, where I lived for eight years. My family then moved to Redmond, Washington where we lived for thirteen years and I graduated from Eastlake high school. As a senior in high school, my mother and father divorced after 24 years of marriage. My dad (Gary) stayed in Redmond and my mom (Lynnette) and brother (Tyler) went to live in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota where her family roots are. My grandfather started a jewelry store, Price’s, in 1943 that is still in operation today under the management of my uncle. I stayed behind in Washington with my dad and after finishing high school, I worked for the Seattle Seahawks in a number of capacities for three years. After doing much research and making university visits, I started my college/athletic career at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. I was there two years before the Lord led me to Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. Instead of flying back to Washington every year, I secured an Equipment Room Assistant position with the Minnesota Vikings that I had with the Seahawks and I spent every summer of my college career practicing with and tending to the needs of the professional players there. I have been watering the FCA seed for seven years working in different capacities: from a student participant to a Team Camp Huddle Leader. (I’m also a member of the reigning SOSU FCA Oklahoma Holy Bowl championship team 2004-2006.) My biggest influence of Christianity came at the highest point of turmoil in my life. During the pinnacle of my parent’s divorce, graduating from high school, starting a career, and my mom and brother moving away—Shaun Alexander of the Seattle Seahawks stepped in as my big brother and accountability partner in Christ. Shaun caught me, brought me, and taught me to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. He caught me just in time because I was searching, he taught me to be the light and the salt of the earth, and he brought me to the understanding of what it means to take a stand for Christ. He educated me on what it means to be a true Son of God—and I’ve been walking in it ever since. I move down to Austin, TX after my last summer season with the Vikings in 2007 because I knew God had a purpose for me there; but after working with Nike (the corporation I felt encourage to pursue a life-long career with) for five months and still not feeling fulfilled I began to really seek out God. While reading the book of Revelation, I had a revelation, which turned into a manifestation. The revelation was my full-time position with FCA. It’s no incident, accident, or coincidence, but a divine providence that I am here in Austin serving as the north area representative. I am a member of the Church of the First Born where every member is a soul winner. I serve as an usher and a leader in S.W.A.T. (Soul Winning Action Team) that takes the ministry to the streets of Austin. I have many interests in various ministries, but my biggest passion has always been in growing and encouraging coaches and youth in Christ—like what my mentor, Shaun, did and is doing with me. When I depart from this earth I want to leave the legacy of being a true and faithful servant of the Lord. This W-O-R-L-D is nothing but an opportunity to Worship the L-O-R-D with everything that I AM, say, and do.
To Love, to Learn, to Laugh, to Leave a Legacy.
Your brother in Christ,

One thing unique is every Tuesday morning before school the Freshman have their own FCA huddle, led by freshman.
