FCA Volunteer Impact 2016

Our Community ministry reaches people through partnerships with the local churches, businesses, parents and volunteers. These ministries not only reach out to the community, but also allow the community to invest in athletes and coaches.

In our nation, 58 million youth between 6-17 compete in youth sports, but only 8 million compete on campuses, meaning the bulk of competition and coaching is happening off campus out in our communities. Help us reach those kids and coaches!

Fields Of Faith

2016 Fields of Faith Promo from FCA on Vimeo.

Since 1954 the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) has been challenging coaches and athletes at all levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Fields of Faith is a ministry outreach of FCA.

Fields of Faith is a student led event.  Students invite, pray for, share with, and challenge their peers to read the Bible and follow Jesus Christ.  An athletic field provides a neutral, rally point where a community can come together.

Getting Involved/Volunteering

FCA Church Ambassador

Lead the charge for getting your fellow church members plugged into a local FCA school Huddle!

They can officially Adopt-a-Huddle, help the Huddle Coach at the school with community service projects, bringing in food and beverages for the meetings and lining up your youth pastor to speak at the Huddle meetings.

Introduce the FCA local Area Representative to your Missions Committee so they can present the opportunity of contributing to the mission field in the public schools.

Work with your youth pastors to identify FCA student leadership team candidates.

Introduce your FCA Area Representative to the men’s ministry.

Discuss with your FCA Area Representative the opportunities for athletes and coaches to speak at church gatherings.

Host Coaches Appreciation meals for your local school district coaches.
